Ramallah: Head of water authority Eng. Mazen Ghoneim, discussed today with water and sewer administrator for the Middle East region in the World Bank, Mr.Suhail Jmaian, and in the presence of Mr.Adnan Ghosheh, Water administrator in Palestine, the practical steps  to begin preparation of  the water security project in various stages , which is being carried out according to the  national strategy and water sector reform plan in which the water authority works to ensure the improvement and sustainability of services...

In this regard, Eng. Ghoneim stressed that the water Authority look forward to the water security program to be successful and integrated program with the concerted efforts of all relevant stakeholders indicating that the water sector development process and transition work to new levels requires systematic work based on clear standards that create an appropriate environment able to develop water supply institutions within a realistic and applicable vision.

During the meeting, Eng. Ghonaim also addressed the importance of working in parallel on a number of issues, including the establishment of regional water utilities, starting the practical steps for its importance in consolidating of bodies, the organization of work in the field of service delivery and water supply to the citizens, as well as sell water wholesale and work mechanisms according to new developments.
