Minister Mazen Ghunaim, head of the Water Authority, met with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Palestinian and Israeli Affairs, Hadi Amr, and discusses a range of issues related to the water sector.

The meeting touched on the main challenges facing the water and wastewater sector, arising from the Israeli actions to control water sources and to impose numerous obstacles to the implementation and development of strategic projects implemented by the Water Authority, as well as the continuation of the policy of imposing a fait accompli, expansions, restrictions and forced displacement of citizens in areas classified (c) which constitute more than 60 percent of the West Bank's territory by preventing development projects.
