Ramallah: Water Authority conducted a series of interviews for students applying for a master's degree scholarships in cooperation with the International Desalination Center (MEDRC), where 51 master's students in the West Bank and Gaza applied for the interviews that are held to obtain grants competitively through an interview committee of experts from local institutions and universities to assess all aspects of the proposals for applicants according to specific criteria.

Through these grants, the Water Authority is working to guide scientific research to serve and achieve the vision and development objectives of the Water Authority, therefore many activities and programs have been implemented with local and international partners to link scientific research to development.

It is worth mentioning that the Water Authority has provided support for 300 master's scholarships and 9 doctorate grants, and has worked on 35 application projects to develop the research environment and achieve real development dimensions that can build on sustainably, and is currently working on finding ways to encourage creators, creative ideas and development towards establishing development companies that achieve the desired goals.
