Ramallah: Head of Water Authority Eng. Mazen Ghoneim signed with the director of the Action against Hunger Foundation, Mr. Gonzalo codina, a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in all programmes and projects related to water and sanitation in Palestine.

Eng.Ghoneim confirmed that the marginalized areas comes on the top of the priorities within the framework of the strategic plan to improve the water situation in all Palestinian communities and alleviate the water crisis, stressing the important role played by Action against Hunger Foundation, particularly in the implementation of programmes to improve the situation of marginalized areas and areas classified 'C'.

During the meeting, Action against Hunger Foundation presented a quick overview of the works it has achieved , the most important challenges it has faced in Area C and the high percentage of losses in water networks, stressing the need for additional projects to develop the water situation in them.
