Ramallah, Tuesday, June 20, 2023 

The Head of the Water Authority, Eng. Mazen Ghunaim, welcomed today, at his office, the Director of the World Bank Mission, M.r Stefan Emblad,. The meeting discussed the developments in the water and wastewater projects funded by the World Bank.

Minister Ghunaim focused on the developments in the work of the project and the measures that have been implemented, pointing out the Water Authority's efforts to complete the project with its various components, given its great importance from environmental, social, and economic perspectives. 

 For his part, the mission director emphasized the importance of the work being carried out and the steps taken by the Water Authority to ensure the progress of the project despite all the challenges during implementation.

The two parties emphasized that the water sector still needs technical and financial support to ensure the implementation of strategic projects with positive aspects for the Palestinian citizen.
