Ramallah- Minister Mazen Ghnonim met at his office today with Mr. Steen Lo Gorgenz- Regional Manager of the World Bank on the occasion of the latter completing his tour of duty in Palestine. The Minister praised his important role in supporting the water sector, enhancing the relations between the two sides through following up the water situation in the Palestinian Territories, and initiating many projects to help develop the water sector.

Minister Ghoneim expressed his appreciation for the efforts made by Mr. Gorgenz during his work in Palestine, which yielded the implementation of many water projects, for supporting many development programs, and the Minister called for enhancement of the current and future mutual relations.

Minister Ghoneim also praised the professionalism of Mr. Gorgenz, in following up on all water programs and projects.

Mr. Gorgenz expressed his pleasure in working in Palestine which he described as a successful experience in which he managed to explore closely the real situation that Palestinian Territories face, and he also praised the efforts made by the Water Authority headed by Minister Ghoneim in  developing the water sector as well as the achievements which have had a positive impact on the water sector.

The Minster thanked Mr. Gorgenz for his efforts in the water sector, and wished him all the best in his future missions.
