Head of PWA, Eng. Mazen Ghunaim met with Dr. Csaba Rada, the Hungarian Ambassador in Palestine, today, January 11, 2022. The meeting discussed strengthening cooperation between the two countries in water and wastewater fields and the leadership and academic areas.
The two sides considered that the current cooperation in these fields and the exchange of expertise contribute to opening new horizons that would develop the water sector and provide it with technical and scientific expertise.
Eng. Ghunaim confirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation in water fields to find practical and technical solutions to the preservation and development of water sources, as well as opening up new horizons in line with the rapid technological development in this field. Eng. Ghunaim also commended Hungary's role in the Water Summit, which focused on supporting and highlighting water issues and presented the challenges facing the world as an international platform that highlighted Palestinian water issues.
For his part, the Hungarian ambassador welcomed the Fourth Arab Water Conference to be held in Cairo, organized by the State of Palestine, stressing his interest in the participation of experts and competent water companies from Hungary in the conference.
At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed that the technical teams would continue to follow up on the implementation of the agreed aspects of the agreement signed between the two countries.
