Ramallah: The Head of the Water Authority, Eng. Mazen Ghunaim met with the mayors of villages north of Ramallah, including Sinjel, Jalglia, Al-Nubani farms, Abwein, and Arora. The meeting aimed to discuss the problems that these villages suffer from due to the shortage of water, and the need to improve distribution processes among the villages.

The villages north of Ramallah suffer from water outages for long periods, which has caused real suffering to the citizen that requires considering the possibilities that can be worked out to improve the water situation of these areas, which requires urgent intervention from the Jerusalem Water Undertaking to solve this problem.

For his part, Eng. Ghunaim stressed the importance of delivering water to these villages and distributing it fairly among the different communities. These issues will be followed up with the competent authority to work to resolve these problems according to a clear mechanism of action and to develop solutions to improve the service of water provided to citizens. In this regard, Eng. Ghunaim called on the Jerusalem Water Undertaking to do their part to ensure the equitable distribution of water in its concession areas.
