Head of the Water Authority inspected the sites of Al-Sharbati and Khallet Wafi, which are the proposed sites for the safe disposal of stone saw asthma in the industrial zone, according to studies prepared by the Water Authority and the Municipality of Hebron.
Eng. Ghunaim, accompanied by the Hebron municipality crews, visited Khallet Al-Sharbati site, which is temporarily dedicated to getting rid of asthma from stone saws and quarries until the completion of procedures for preparing the Khallet Wafi site as a permanent and radical solution to get rid of asthma which is expected to be processed within two years.
Eng. Ghunaim confirmed the Water Authority’s concern to ensure the operation of the wastewater treatment plant, which is being implemented by the Water Authority with funding of up to $50 million with high efficiency, which aims to improve wastewater services and protect the environment from pollution, and this requires the safe disposal of industrial wastewater in general and the asthma of saws in particular, which requires joint efforts and cooperation among all relevant institutions.
