Ramallah: The head of the Water Authority, Eng. Mazen Ghunaim, received in his office today Mrs. Catherine Bonneau, Regional Director of the French Development Agency, Ms. Veronique Sova, the new Director of the French agency, and the delegation’s staff.

The meeting discussed the most critical developments in the strategic projects funded by the French government, particularly the Hebron Treatment Plant Project and the Connection Points Project. The meeting also discussed essential actions and interventions required to complete the projects within the specified time frame.

At the beginning of the meeting, Eng. Ghunaim welcomed Ms. Veronique, congratulated her on assuming the position of Director of the French Agency in Palestine, and wished her success in water affairs.

Eng. Ghunaim stated that the Water Authority is determined to develop and complete various significant projects in the water sector, which are crucial for developing other sectors.

For her part, Mrs. Bonneau appreciated the Water Authority's achievements and advancements in various fields. She emphasized the importance of completing the projects according to the agreed-upon process for the benefit of the public. Additionally, she offered her support for the Water Authority's efforts to advance and finalize the execution of diverse projects.
