Brussels _Head of water authority signs officially the invitation of the donor countries to participate in the International Donors Conference scheduled for March 20, which aims to complete the necessary funding to start the Central desalination plant project with a total cost of 650million dollars.

The invitation was signed at the headquarters of the European Union and in the presence of Dr. Abdel Rahim Al-Farra, the Palestinian Ambassador to Belgium, Luxemburg and the European Union. This invitation was signed by the Palestinian Government represented by Mr. Mazen Ghoneim,and the European Commissioner for Good Neighbor Mr. John Hans , and the Secretary-General of the Union for the Mediterranean, Mr. Fathallah Sglmasi . It should be noted that this project is a strategic option for saving catastrophic water situation in the Gaza Strip and more than 2 million people in the sector ,in addition to improve the water situation which will reflect positively on all the different development sectors.
