Ramallah: head of the Water Authority Eng. Mazen Ghoneim met at his office today with the mayor and members of Gabaa municipality to discuss the needs and problems facing the town.

 They discussed the need for the rehabilitation the water network as it is very old and causes loss of water, and the need to install pre-paid  water meters in order to ensure gaining  the accumulated water  prices from the  citizens in order to  start  to solve the debt issue.

In this context, Minister Ghoneim assured that all municipalities and local authorities should work on debt scheduling as a first step to solve this problem, as well as take serious steps in the debit collection process in order to ensure the Permanence of  water  service for the citizens.
