Ramallah- Minister Mazen Ghoniem met today with Mr. Haseeb Al Kele –Mayor of Beirzet, who was accompanied by a delegation from the municipality, to discuss needs of the town regarding water and sanitation issues , especially in Al Marj area.

Minster Ghoniem explained - the Water Authority is working on preparing a study on the sanitation service in Ramallah and Al Beireh, to be the basis to be used to identify the priorities of projects, and he also indicated that the Water Authority is concerned with Bierzet and will update old studies about sanitation and water service issues to serve Ramallah’s Northeast area better.

Mr. Keleh also mentioned the need for  rehabilitating the water network in Beirzet because of population growth.
