Water Authority Introduces 37,000 Liters of Fuel to Sustain Water Facilities in Gaza City and the Northern Governorates

Ramallah: The Acting Head of the Water Authority, Ziad Al-Fuqaha, announced today the completion of the introduction and distribution of 37,000 units of new fuel necessary to continue operating numerous water wells in Gaza and North Gaza governorates. This fuel will be allocated to 41 water facilities, comprising 37 wells and 4 sewage pumps.

Al-Fuqaha stated, "Despite the increasing difficulty of the situation due to continuous destruction operations, we are working persistently to secure the required quantities of fuel to maintain the operation of water wells and sewage stations, ensuring the provision of safe and clean water and reducing the flow of wastewater."

Al-Fuqaha also praised the Water Authority teams operating in the field under the most challenging and unsafe conditions, necessitating continuous working hours to secure and distribute these quantities.
