Ghuneim meets the president of Hungary and a group of Arab ministers at Budapest Water Summit

Budapest: Head of Water Authority Eng. Mazen Ghuneim met with the President of Hungary, Janos Ader, in the presence of the Deputy Ambassador of Palestine to Hungary, Alian Al-Kaswani, upon an invitation of President Ader to ministers and heads of delegations participating in the summit entitled: Reducing Water Crises.


During his participation in the summit, Eng. Ghunaim discussed the possibility of raising the level of joint cooperation with Hungary for the Palestinian water sector , and held several bilateral meetings with Arab ministers, including the Algerian Minister of Water Resources , Ali Hammam, where they were agreed to sign a joint memorandum of understanding, as well as, he met with the Iraqi Minister of Water Resources, Dr.Jamal Al-Adli, to finish the final stages of signing a memorandum of understanding between the two countries as part of the promotion of Cooperation, on the other hand, he met with the Senegalese minister in preparation for the International Water Forum in Dakar 2021 and urged on the importance of focusing on raising the issue of water in Palestine.


It is noteworthy that Eng. Ghuneim will leave Budapest to the Egyptian capital to attend the 'Cairo Water Week'.
