Minister Ghunaim discusses with a Hungarian delegation expanding prospects of cooperation and exchange of experiences

Ramallah: The head of PWA, Eng. Mazen Ghunaim, discussed with a Hungarian delegation the expansion of cooperation and exchange of experiences including governance and institutional development, integrated and sustainable management of water and sanitation services, climate change, and collaboration in the pioneering and academic fields, contributing to the development of the Palestinian water sector.

Ghunaim briefed the delegation, which included Director-General of the Water Department at the Ministry of the Interior Peter Kovac, and the representative of the Republic of Hungary to Palestine, Chapa Rada, on the developments of work in developing the water sector in light of the challenges it faces, and the priorities of the strategic projects that have been implemented, including the central desalination plant program.

For his part, Mr. Kovac expressed appreciation for the Water Authority's efforts, especially in the light of the challenges that existed. He stressed that the delegation had come to Palestine to learn about and share the Palestinian experience in various fields to promote cooperation and open new prospects at all levels.
