Ramallah - Minister Mazen Ghoneim met in his office today Ambassador Mohammed Abu Wandi, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the occasion of receiving his duties in Palestine.
Minister Ghoneim welcomed Ambassador Abu Wandi, wishing him success in his mission as ambassador to Palestine. Praising Jordan's positions in support of the Palestinian people and Government, stressing the strength of the relationship between the two countries and the consultation in common issues in general and water issues in particular and the permanent partnership in this area, especially in regional and strategic projects.
Eng. Ghoneim briefed the Ambassador on the developments in the Palestinian water sector and strategic plans developed by the water authority in terms of development projects which have contributed to improving the water situation by improving the distribution system and reduce waste, reduce violations of water sources Which cause the loss of large amounts of water, besides working on development projects for the sanitation sector and establishment of treatment plants to enable the utilization of treated water in many sectors
For his part, Ambassador Abu Wandi expressed his happiness for his presence in Palestine, Stressing the steadfastness of the Jordanian position in support of the positions of the Palestinian leadership, and the continued strengthening of bilateral cooperation in all common issues.
