Amman: Head of the Water Authority, Eng. Mazen Ghoneim discussed with his counterpart, the Jordanian Minister of Water and Irrigation, Mounir Aweys the joint cooperation between the two countries in various aspects of water and sanitation sectors and the ways of cooperation in the framework of regional projects on the basis that guarantees the Palestinian right in the water.

The meeting also discussed the importance of benefiting from the Jordanian experience in strategic projects and benefit from the expertise of specialists and reflected on the Palestinian experience in relevant aspects.

For his part, Minister Aweys stressed the support of the Kingdom of Jordan, represented by the Ministry of water to Palestinian water sector and provided the experiences and possibilities for further achievements in the water sector and the development of this facility in accordance with modern techniques.
